Terms and conditions of Entry for Shark Shield’s Surfer Survey Prize Competition (“Promotion”)
Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter is Shark Shield Pty. Ltd ABN 87 099 782 091 of Building 7, 1 Winton Road, Joondalup, WA, Australia
The Promotion will be open from 9.00am AEST on 10 November 2017 and will continue until midnight AEST on 26 November 2017 (“Promotion Period”).
Entry is open to all Australian residents, aged 18 years and over, other than management, employees or contractors of the Promoter, and other agencies forms, retailers or companies associated with the Promotion (including suppliers of prizes), and their immediate families (“Eligible Entrants”).
To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
Complete Shark Shield’s 2017 Surfer Survey and answer the survey question ‘How is Shark Shield good for the environment?’ in 25 words or less.
The Winner will be judged based on their answer to the survey question ‘How is Shark Shield good for the environment?’. The answer must be 25 words or less.
Entries will be judged by an expert panel determined by Shark Shield in its discretion against the following criteria: clarity, skill, relevance, originality and merit.
One Winner will be chosen by the panel. The prize is one Shark Shield product of the Winner’s choice, valued at up to $799 AUD. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
The Winner will be announced at 12.00pm AEST on Monday 4th December 2017 at Suite 7, Level 1, 55 Avalon Parade, Avalon Beach, NSW 2107.
The Winner will be notified via email and telephone by Tuesday 5th December 2017.
In the event that the prize has not been claimed by 5.00pm AEST on Tuesday 19th December 2017, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another valid entry judged against the same criteria as in clause 7.
The Promoter is not liable for any injury, illness or other harm sustained by the Prize Winner as a result of their use of the Prize.
If the Promoter is unable to provide the Winner with the nominated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of equal or greater monetary value to the nominated prize, subject to any written directions given by State or Territory gaming departments.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Winner agrees that the Promoter may use their name and photographs of them for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and that the Promoter will own copyright in any such photographs and in all material incorporating the photographs.
